Accessibility Statement

Maine Dentistry wants everyone to be able to learn about our practice, explore care options and contact our Auburn, Gray and Portland offices.

Copy updated October 8, 2026.

Our approach to accessibility

We aim to provide a website that is understandable and usable for people with different abilities, devices and assistive technologies. Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we welcome feedback about barriers you encounter.

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) provide a useful reference for accessible web content. This statement is not a claim of WCAG certification, complete conformance or a completed independent accessibility audit.

Using this website

Our accessibility approach includes clear headings, readable text, meaningful link labels, keyboard access, visible focus indicators and text alternatives for informative images. We also consider how pages reflow on smaller screens and when visitors enlarge text.

If a feature does not work with your browser, keyboard, screen reader or other assistive technology, please tell us. You do not need to share a medical diagnosis or details about a disability to report a website problem.

An alternative way to get help

If you cannot access information, use an online feature or complete a booking step, call the office you would like to visit. Our team can help you obtain practice information and discuss another way to arrange your visit.

When reporting an accessibility issue, it is helpful to identify the page address, the task you were trying to complete and the difficulty you experienced. You may include the browser or assistive technology used if you wish.

Third-party services

Online scheduling, maps, video, reviews and social-media links may use services operated by other organizations. Their accessibility and interfaces are not controlled entirely by Maine Dentistry. If one of these services prevents you from getting help, contact an office for an alternative.

Ongoing improvements

We intend to consider accessibility as website content and features change. Feedback helps identify problems that may not be apparent in routine testing. We cannot promise that every feature will work with every combination of browser and assistive technology, but we can help you find another way to reach our team.
